About Jennifer

A writer with a background in education, Jennifer Elliott, is at heart, a teacher. With experiences in teaching kindergartners up through high school students, presenting and training teachers, to writing curricula, she understands learners coming at topics from diverse mindsets and viewpoints. Through her experiences, she presents to the reader the subject of grief with a sympathetic, but honest and fresh perspective on how grief can sideswipe us, while simultaneously encourages a brave, accessible approach to address death head-on as an unavoidable part of life. When not writing or teaching, Jennifer loves to travel, volunteer for Hospice, search for treasures in antique stores, and watch baseball. Jennifer lives in Bend, Oregon with her husband. They have two children, two cats and one very spoiled golden retriever.
